I am a proud Canadian born and raised in Northern Ontario. After a 30 year career as an elite gymnastics coach, I returned to school and earned an honors diploma in graphic design at Canadore College. I can’t remember a time in my life where I wasn’t designing in one way or another. I’ve always gone out of my way to make even the simplest word document stand out and look interesting with fonts, borders and colours. When I was in my early 20’s I was fortunate enough to get a job as an airbrush artist while on summer break from coaching and I haven’t lost the passion for art since. My personal art style is eclectic as I see beauty in most things and love working in all mediums. Now with the aide of Adobe and Nikon, I try to capture the world around me and share it with everyone I can. I can meet all your design needs from a simple logo to a full branding for any business. I have a portable photo studio and love the challenge of not just taking a picture but creating a portrait. I love the challenge of restoring old photos and digitizing slides into large picture files to help you enjoy old memories on modern devices.
I live with my wife in a tiny house and we consider ourselves to be minimalists, although some could argue we still have a way to go yet. Nothing would make me happier than to travel our beautiful country in a renovated school bus with my wife, making a living creating art and designs. I believe in the motto “Hippie wife, happy life”. We are avid hikers and love to meet new challenges and really get off the beaten path when ever we get a chance. We’ve spent days on the trails all over Canada and look forward to spending the rest of our lives living in the moments that bring us true joy.
